he Pyrenean town of Ainsa houses the most emblematic headquarters of the FCQ. Here the so-called “Eco Museum- Visitors’ Centre” is located. This forms part of an 11th century building situated in the old quarter of the town, declared a national historical-artistic monument.

Its location in the Sobrarbe region, next to the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido, the Posets-Maladeta Park, the Park of the Sierra and Canyons of Guara and other massifs such as Peña Montañesa or Cotiella, convert this sector into the area with the greatest density of bearded vulture territories of the whole European Union.

The Eco Museum is an open door to the FCQ with respect to its projects and activities. With this, the Foundation hopes to simply and didactically disseminate the most outstanding values of Pyrenean Fauna and Nature, creating a space that will favour the development of environmental education activities, training, congresses and technical seminars and which will act as support to disseminate the aspects related to the conservation of the mountain ecosystems both on a local, regional and national level.
At the crossroads of the Sobrarbe region, Ainsa offers visitors, wishing to come here to see the Eco Museum or the activities of the FCQ, several access possibilities:
