Project justification

n agreement with the Spanish Strategy for the recovery of the Bearded vulture and with the Recovery Plan of this species in Navarre, the FCQ is developing a municipal service for the Foral Government of Navarre through the public company, Gestión Ambiental Viveros y Repoblaciones.

   This service consists in capturing and marking adult specimens of this species in the Basque-Navarre mountain ranges with radio transmitters and visual bands in order to identify the causes of mortality and the species’ use of space in this area.
