his pilot project is carried
out within the municipality
of Pueyo de Araguas, in
the region of Sobrarbe,
located on the southern
face of the Peña
Montañesa massif.
This medium-sized municipality
with a surface area of 60
km² and a small population
of about 180 people distributed
into eleven small centres,
is a significant sample
of the characteristics of
the environment in the Aragonese
Pyrenees and of its potentialities
to reach sustainable development
and closely linked to its
own duration.
